The Queen Esther dangle earrings stand for the message behind the warrior woman who risked her life to save her people.
This woman carried with her two names; the first name is a Hebrew name, Hadassah, meaning Jerusalem. The second name is a Persian name, Esther.
Hadassha is the Hebrew name she was given at birth and Esther is the name she was given while becoming the queen of Persia.
I made this set of earrings to honor this young, Jewish woman that was willing to sacrifice her life for all of us today. In the Jewish concept, she was part of the Messiah because she saved her people. I still feel there are many women out there who carry the spirit of sacrifice and who do so for others.
