The circles of Jewish life are actually spiraling ones, and do not have a definite beginning and end. Every new circle begins at a higher level than the previous one. Every new circle brings us to a higher place spiritually.

We are now in the month of Elul, the last month in the Hebrew calendar. The name ELUL stands for Ani.Le'Dodi.Ve'Dodi.Li - I Am My Beloved's And My Beloved Is Mine. This is the month that represents the relationship between God and us.
